We like the Avent’s products. However when we opened up this starter package, it is missing a brush. I am not sure if it is Avent’s or Amazon’s problem. From a customer’s view, this product is at least a 4+ star, but not the packaging so I deducted some here.

Avent Bottle are the best bottles on the market. I tried every type of bottle when my baby had colic. When I first got an Avent bottle, it was very leaky ONLY because the nipple was leaked fast because out baby was too little for a fast flow nipple. Fast flow nipples will come out very fast and practically spill everywhere if the baby is too young for that nipple. You have to get the slow flow nipples, not the nipples which come with most bottles.
I kept reading these reviews wondering why people were saying the rims leaked, and found one saying the nipple leaked milk down to the rim and then dripped. It’s the nipple that’s leaking.
People get upset fast when they pay a lot for something. Make sure you get slow flow nipples, I don’t see any of the complainers saying they switched to the correct nipple type. I don’t think it’s the rims leaking. And if it is acutally leaking, I’m sure the problem is getting solved as we speak. These bottles are great, don’t let these bad reviews keep you from getting them. They are the best bottles.

Leakage problem!
It will leak every 3 times out of 5.
Some nipples will break after 3 month of constant use.

it’s quick dilivery. It’s gift for my friend so that I don’t know whether it leaks or not. I hope not.

The nipple / bottle interface on these bottles was poorly designed and the result is a bad seal and leaky bottles.
Twins are tough enough to feed without having to change their clothes after every feeding due to the bottles leaking.
We contacted Phillips regarding this problem and they advised us on how to ensure that the bottles wouldn’t leak, but alas, the problem is still in the design and the leaking continues.
Stay away!!
